IVA-Farm is a growing farm. Started in 2008 with the aquaintance of a small family farm with 3,6 ha land direct behind the farm stead, it now has over 10 ha to it's disposal.
The farm works with biodynamic methods. In short it means that we strive for closing the cricle of feeding and fertilizing: to produce enough food for the animals that they can produce enough manure for making compost that can fertilize the soil on which both the animal food (grass, clover, grain) and human food (vegetables, grain) is grown. Apart from that we use biodynamic preparations for the land and the compost. See for more under 'Biodynamics'.
At IVA-Farm animals find a good place. We don't feed to get as much as possible out of the animal, but strive for an harmonic growth with natural food. We keep sheep, goats, mangulitza pigs, chicken, ducks and guinea fowls and soon buša cows. See 'Animals'.
Seasonally we grow vegetables, ca 50 different sorts of which we try to make seeds, mainly for the use of the farm. Vegetables are sold in Belgrade at greenmarket Zeleni Venac.
